Increase energy and prevent fatigue by staying hydrated
Our body consists 65% of water. Every cell in our body requires water to work properly. Water not only increases the energy level and prevents fatigue but also helps to lose the weight.
Why you should drink water?
Boosts the energy
As we all know, drinking less water causes fatigue. It affects the flow of oxygen to brain; as a result your heart has to work harder to pump oxygen all over the body. Not drinking enough water will cause dehydration, which can slow down your body functions and you may feel sluggish.
The researches have shown that drinking of water during exams reduces your stress. The students who have their own water bottles for the exams score high marks because their mind works properly during the exams.
Water keeps your lips and throat moist and prevents your throat from feeling dry. As the dry throat and mouth causes bad breath.
Intake of less water causes lower your blood level. Thus, your heart has to work harder to supply the reduced amount of blood all over the body and you feel tired.
Water keeps the temperature of your body normal. More drinking of water results more precipitation, hence, causes cooling effect.
Water as a fuel
Water acts like a fuel for the human body. Humans can live without food for approximately 3 weeks but they can live without water for only 3 days.
Fatigue vs. dehydration
Dr. Woodson Merrell said that half of the people that came to him complaining of fatigue were actually dehydrated. 75% of the people living in this world are not drinking enough water.
When to drink water?
Drinking water is really important. The timing of drinking water also matters a lot. Drinking it too soon before or after the meal will create disturbance with digestion. The perfect time is to drink it before 30 minutes or after 2 hours. The water gives you a lot of energy.

Water suppresses your appetite. Before having a meal, drinking water helps you to eat less and lose weight.
Acts as a cleaning agent
Water acts as a cleaning agent. It improves your circulation of blood and helps flushing out the toxins.
As water is the combination of different minerals it gives you energy to do work. So you can call it mineral water if it has gone through a limited treatment.
How to overcome fatigue?
The last thing I'm going to discuss is how to overcome the fatigue. Dehydration can cause fatigue you don't need to follow the “eight glasses a day” rule, but you’ve to be hydrated all day. Drink water, even if you don't want to. You should keep a water bottle with you.
